Donna, please describe the tactile effects, that is, the feel upon the skin, upon Winkies. Does this fabric actually have metal within the knit fabric?
The term, "hand", is a term used by tailors and those in the clothing industries. When a fabric, a textile, an item of clothing is said to have a good hand, that means that the item feels like it's supposed to, that it's a well-executed fabric that feels very rich and natural, like it's going to wear well, and please the owner to no end. For Tricot, it means that a good hand imputes special softness and suppleness as the clothing tradesman/woman tests it out with the fingers and the hand.
