Kind of a good story. I was a radio dispatcher for the state higway patrol. I went to another district to fill in for a few weeks as two dispatchers were going on National Guard training at the same time. I was single at the time and free to go. The motel where I stayed was owned by one of the higway patrol sergants. I think his wife cleaned the room one morning. I had left a pink nitie on the bed that I had worn to bed that night and forgot to put it in my locked suitcase after getting up and going to work. Nothing was said by the sergant or his wife. The nitie was placed on top the fresh made bed all neatly layed out when I got off work and back to my motel room.
I have, on several occasions, left panties "out" in hotel rooms, first by accident and then intentionally. Usually they are left alone, but more than once they have been moved from the shower rod to the vanity (neatly folded). Once, I left a pair neatly folded on the corner of the bed, and when I returned to the room they were placed (again neatly) on top of my suitcase. Perhaps one day soon will send out a pair or to to be laundered, with other obviously male clothing. A very exciting proposition.
I too have left my female lingerie in the motel room while I was at work. I have even washed out female undies and hung them on clothes racks in the shower. I also have "accidentally" left my curtain partially open while I lounged on the bed in garter belt, thigh highs, breast forms, bra, and camisole. If the pool is open late, I have gone to the pool wearing just bikini panties. Actually, panties are just as covering as speedos.

I would wager that they thought you had a female in the room with you for a little play. Either way, they were being good hosts. I think next time I travel I will leave a pair of pantie out and also something to show that I am a male. Sounds very exciting.
While I was staying at a hotel, I would lay an outfit of what I was going to wear in the afternoon on the bed. With my shorts, shirt, and the panties I would wear. I would return to my room to find my bed made up and my clothes be moved but on the bed but in a different place with my panties be placed on the top of my clothes!
II always leave my pretties out, these people who clean the rooms have no idea who you might have staying you, and besides it has led to some intresting encounters with hotel staff.
Kind of like JanetCD: I too was away for military training and had a room to myself for six weeks. I often left my panties, sheer babydolls, bras and on several occassions, my nylons and garter belt out on the bed and on the chairs. After my bed was re-made with clean sheets, my lingerie was placed back on the bed. On my last few day's, I even left my heels by my bed...nothing was ever said!
