Donna, how could I do a group private message, here within The Forum? I don't see such a function, anywhere. To clarify, right now, all you can do is send one, the same one, one at a time. To include other folks, you'd have to do a long tedious cut 'n' paste job, each and every time, for each and every single individual. For a big job, you might forget who you intended to include. IE9's great, in allowing you to open a seperate tabbed window, within this site, for each individual, but for that big job, you're still likely to lose your place and leave someone out.
Here's the kind of interface that I propose. You click on a Radio Button, and it opens one of those newfangled "grey out" windows, where the background immediately fades out, and the insert window immediately displays, "Select Recipients". You then click 'n' pick the ones you want. They're displayed in a little pane below. When you're finished, you click "Done", and the "grey out" closes. Then a "Compose" window, almost identical to the pane that I'm now writing, typing this in, opens, with all the members names right there, as one of the headers, the other being "Subject". Finish writing your message, screed(Laughs!), whatever, click the "Send" button, and everyone on your list gets the same identical message into their "Personal and Private; Command and Control Page". Sounds nifty, doesn't it?
