About 10-15 years ago, on the Art Bell radio program, Art had a guest who warned about RFID's (Radio Frequency Identification Devices)--micro-nano radio transmitter chips--that can be incorporated into any and all consumer items. Food, clothing, DVD's, CD's, appliances, toys, automobiles, bicycles, sporting goods, packaging, etc.; you name it; those chips are in there (Or so it's claimed.). In addition, building contractors would soon be required to saw and work their wood materials in a certain way, so as to not lose the chips embedded in their lumber, that goes into houses, along with other building materials. These chips are passive--lacking their own power supply--yet are capable of telemetry dialogue, with GPS satellites in space orbit, that in turn, sends the location of the items to shadowy Tracking Centers. The chips are cross-coded with the barcode SKU's of the merchandise, and the buyer's credit/debit cards, and-or chips embedded in their paper checks. If the customer pays with currency, they could be required to furnish their address and phone number, with the pending the final approval of the sale, to see if the location information is legitimate.
United States Passports now actually do contain them, putatively so that the State Department can "guarantee or enhance the safety of United States Citizens, while abroad". They are activated by hidden devices in Airports, Customs Stations, and Ship Cruise Terminals, whenever you carry that Passport on your person. They are then theoretically supposed to be rendered "dormant", upon your return home, to your principal residence.
Then there's Taggants. Taggants are special particles invulnerable to the forces and combustions of blasts, now mixed into every gunpowder, agricultural & landscaper's fertilizer, retail ferilizer for home gardeners, miner's and highway builder's explosives, fireworks, gasoline and diesel, bullets & buckshot, and, military-use munitions in the United States of America, that gives a batch of said substances an identifiable signature, should such substances be "misused", in a "criminal fashion", easily traceable by forensic experts. Taggants make a lot of sense to me, up to a point, as long as gun-grabbers 'n' such, don't use them as a ploy to disarm otherwise law-abiding citizens, the Law Enforcement Community, recreational hunters, and our Military.
The Passport stufff, yes, I do believe in. The guv'ment's actually forthright in that declaration, and it actually says so, in your Passport; you can give them credit there. But about all the magnitude of labor intensiveness and bother required, to insert chips into each and every consumer item, I do find it all hard to believe.
On the other hand, at a Long's Drugs (Now defunct.), five or so years ago, I attempted to buy some tobacco products, here in the State of California, with currency, and the clerk said that by law, I now had to provide my name, address, and phone number, before the sale was completed. I refused, and since then, I only get my stuff through tobacconists.
Okay, you now must be thinking, "What kinda crazy paranoid weed must that psycho Breezie be smoking now?", and what's it all got to do with panties and lingerie??
Just suppose, if . . . RFID's were embedded in the Waist Elastics, near the joining seam of your store-bought/online panties/pantiehose; somwhere in the garter tab(s) of your store-bought/online girdle; and-or, the hemlines of store-bought/online slippies and nighties?
What would you do? What's your thoughts on the subject? Is it possible, for a dictatorship, here in this nation, to use these, to enhance their surveillance powers? Do you have some kind or electronic gadget or technique, to locate/disarm/remove the little buggers, if you do believe such gizmos are embedded in your pretties? Putatively, remember, these are impervious to landering and "rugged" wear of the garments.

whenever I encounter rfid's in any product I purchase, I remove them and disable them. I feel they are an affront to our civil liberties. I am against any and all biometric data mining, including the spiders and bots on our beloved internet. I am under no delusion that there aren't files on every one that will be used some day for a nefarious agenda. I am on a few gun forums and I know that atf agents troll those sites actively. Will it stop me from buying and wearing panties..........HA HA HA , I'm old enough and smart enough to not give a S-hit about them anymore. I thank God I'm in the later years of my life. The world of my children and grand children will be a scary place indeed.
Did I mention our domestic animals? I believe, that in some jurisdictions, some vets are required by law, to embed them somewhere about Fido's cheek, gums, or jawbone. It would also apply to cats, bunnie rabbits, and other pets. The "authorities" claim that they're indispensable, for reuniting furry loved ones, with the not-so-furry ones, in case of runaways and dognappings, but . . .
As long as dog breeders are "above board", and remain such, restricting their activities to the show ring, and providing purebred pets for retail clients, but . . . . . .
Same applies to the equestrian industry. Plus, a fine way to surveil folks, on horse-packing trips into the wilderness. Forest Service, National Park Service, BLM, and others can save money on deploying unmanned drones, to keep tabs on you, should you, your rented steed, and rented donkeys, stray into a "restricted/banned zone", on say, Mount Rainer.
Livestock?? What better way for Green Meanies and the like, to harrass ranchers and the cowboys in their employ!! Then there would be changeovers of devices, at the slaughterhouses, to monitor folk's dietary habits, and further regulate the meat packing industry. $200.00 Ribeyes at the supermarket, anyone?? $20.00 Big Macs at McDonalds??
It would seem fine, to RFID zoo animals, except if the PETA crowd is allowed to become a major faction in the "New American Socialist State", and then they can dismantle our wonderful zoological gardens, wholesale.
And it's conceivable that PETA wants to someday confiscate our beloved furry family members. What they gonna do then, turn 'em loose in the wild, where they're unable to survive?! Liberalism is indeed, a Mental Disease!!
RFID's are placed in merchandise to deter theft. Having worked as a greeter at Walmart for some time, the RFID is deactivated by the cashier. If not deactivated, an alarm at the exit goes off. We would then ask the customer to see their receipt. If everything was okay, we would deactivate the RFID and send the custmer on their way. We had to be very diplomatic. We could have been U.S. Abassadors to any country.
I believe that all these Space Shuttle flights were not for scientific purposes, but were for some clandestine reason. Whatever it was, it is finished, as the space shuttle program is ended.
As far sa RFID's go in the long run, I look to the Bible and the Second coming of Christ. That being the introduction of the Anti-Christ. RFID's could very well be the 'Mark of the Beast.' Rather than a literal mark of 666 on your forehead, a simple chip implanted in your forehead.
Now as to RFID's in our panties, I don't really care, i'll take it as it cums. If any one wants to trake my panties, good luck to them. I'll wear panties until the day I die and maybe in the afterlife also.
Wear panties as a free American, and **** the paranoia. I suspect that if you were caught wearing panties in certain Middle East countries, you may face serious dangers to your well-being. But in America, you may just end up with a million dollar contract and a Reality TV contract...
10 seconds in the microwave on low power will distroy any circuitry
Jarod, if and when you changeout your avatar, I'd like to see you do a bumshot of you, wearing the same Teddie as your current avatar.
Nylon Tricot's extremely flammable; I just hope that a microwave zap doesn't ignite those RFID's!!
Hmm; that's got me thinking, there's a fire suppresive fabric that firefighters use, called Nomex by DuPont. It's quite versatile. Many years ago, when I had some Wildlands Firefighting gigs with the United States Forest Service, my uniform shirt, underhood for my hard hat, and trousers, were made out of a Nomex done up in a Denim/Dungaree Twill. Car and motorcycle racers use not only Nomex outer suits, but Nomex undies, balaclavas, and hosiery, done in a 1 X 1 Rib-Knit, like Cotton and Cot/Poly Blended TW's. It looks very very soft, in the pix that I've seen. It's also possible to do Nomex in a Tricot Knit. So, firefighters that are also pantiephreaks, could have a lot of fun on the job, wearing panties made of Nomex Tricot!!-- Edited by Breeziestroke on Tuesday 4th of October 2011 11:12:44 PM
