Well, Puss, not only have I heard recently from Donna--after a fashion, to turn a phrase--I'd just received a couple of pairs of her panties, from her eBay business, "VictorsSecretLingerie". Based on this, I decided to score a couple more pairs. She's still out there.

Or, it's possible that eBay Sales are a different department from PFM, and that she's delegated the responsibilities out to eBay Sales/VictorsSecretlingerie.

I Don'y really know how Ebay works. I kind of get the idea that it is a place to post what you want to sell and all the transactions are between the buyer and seller. I do know they have a lot of rules. I joined Ebay and tried to read all the rules. I don't really spend much time on it. They did have some interesting full brief panties on sale, double fabric crotch. I think they were from France or England. I don't remember. confuse

Puss; I've been eBaying only yet as a Customer/Buyer, now for about Ten Years. I may yet try it as a Merchant/Seller. The lion's share of my current stash of lingerie was accumulated from eBay. Overall, I'd selected eBay stuff, over regular Current Online Retail, because the items promised to be more unique than what I could find Retail. Vintage, and not so vintage, yet they were orphan "cut-outs", that have promised some allure that Current Production offerings lack.

Yet, oftentimes, promise and actual reality do not come into happy collision. Quite a lot of what I'd picked up on eBay, never passed the winkie test, or, Winkie never really had a chance to test them, as, with some of my purging, it was much forced, such as with my recent move from Oakland, CA, to Contra Costa County, CA, a distance of about 20 Miles. Triage-ing meant that I'd have to trash some perfectly unused items, as I would feel uncomfortable with what the folks in charities would "reason out" about me, should I attempt to donate to their thrift/rummage stores. So, I've told myself, I convinced myself, that the stuff that has ended up in the trash, was mediocre, anyhow.

Enough of that garden path, already. I have just summarized all the necessaries of my eBay experience to you--some stuff works, while other stuff doesn't. Most folks encounter lemons, with various purchases, at some points in their lives, is how I view it. I now find eBay very easy to use; and I've reasonably evolved, with the evolution of their interface.

Sometimes I Bid; sometimes I use the "Buy-It-Now" method. For the former, I now invariably use an eBay ally, "Auction Sniper", that places a bid, electronically on your behalf, within the last few seconds of a Listing's life, as I don't relish getting into nasty bidding wars against perfect strangers anymore.

Plus, for my much-coveted Plain Jane Van Raalte Sheerio Full Briefs in Size 8 and above, I haven't seen those Listed for about Five years. It's a clear sign that time does march on. For those, and the more recent auctions, where Sheerios in smaller sizes are offered, I've seen such psychotic bidding wars, where they end up going to the Highest Bidder, for Half A Grand!!

Sometimes being a "bad boy", a few years back, I did trigger one of those wars, out of spite, because I had no power to keep, what I then desperately wanted, at the price I was able and willing to pay. It was dangerous and highly risky, what I was doing, as I could then open myself up to legal difficulties, should I then be left "holding the bag". I stopped at $300.00, but in the next final half-hour, I saw it creep up to 300, 350, 400, and finally, at 550 Dollars!! I think there may have been 187 Bids Total! Whew!! Did I ever dodge a big bullet, on that one!! With my mischief, I hoped that my revenge would be sweet, and complete, if that Highest Bidder (This same individual kept coming back and topping the others; I saw a pattern emerge.) then decided to welsh on the Seller!! That sort of scenario happens often enough, at eBay, with the mildest penalty being that that "Buyer" is permanently banned from eBay.

I believe quite rightly, that eBay has put some very strict and onerous penalties in place, for those who abuse its protocols and rules to commit fraud, including criminal. eBay's based somewhere in the greater San Jose metropolitan area of California, so the Santa Clara County District Attorney's Office has formed some strong alliances not only with parallel agencies and LEA's elsewhere, but with the U.S. Justice Department and the FBI. From time to time, they've posted stern warnings on those Pages, stating that abusers eventually will be caught and prosecuted.

But, Puss, eBay's been an invaluable tool for me, to find things where, otherwise, it might be downright impossible.

Being an honest seller. I think you would find it easy to sell on eBay instead of disposing your unused danties. I would think that there would also be a market for your used ones and your homemade oneises from differenet items. I would tender the thought that most panties and ligerie are bought by male pantie lovers like those of us on PFM. My problem with buying on eBay is that of size and financial. Being on S.S., which has become a threatening pawn for our wonderful politicians, Obama among the leaders, with my political party losing me to the ranks of the unaffiliated voter.

I've just heard from our dear beloved Donna today, in an Email. She apologized, for not getting back earlier, and I will extend her apology to the rest of you, as I'm sure that would be her sentiments, if she were to communicate with all of you, that have pending overdue correspondence with her. She's been enormously busy, and currently has a lot of other pressing issues, beyond the scope of PFM. Based upon the nature of her letter to me, we ought to extend her another full measure of patience.

Well its good to know Donna is OK. I do understand being busy and having other things in life, but I have been waiting about six months now for an order to get sent correctly. I look forward to hearing from Donna soon.

I too just heard from her. My order is two months overdue (not completely filled). I gave her some choices to send instead of what I wanted and she is out of stock for a few months. I understand if things come up. I don't understand her not
communicating the issues. She sends out sales flyers for us to buy, but does not send out notes stating what's out of stock, etc. Even just a communication when I place my order if an item is out of stock could be a simple minimum.

Just received an e-mail from Donna. She has hired a lady to help her with the sewing. Maybe Donna could some day branch out and sew for females as well. We could have a contest naming Donna's business such as, Donna's Dainties. Donna could become the next Victoria's Secret.

Donna has also hired a professional web designer and hopes to have PFM running a full tilt soon. My only hope is that all that has been posted to date will be transferable. My senior memory only lasts for a few fleeting moments. biggrin

I'm currently using USPS International. Using a custom form and doesn't seem to be working properly. As, I've had packages sent to Canada rec'd in England and then back to Canada. Don't ask me why? They are addressed correctly.

Gosh busy is an understatement. I've been EXTREMELY busy.

Working night and day to keep PFM functioning and bringing in the Calvary to help me get it all done and keep it caught up. Here is what's been happening everyone and even though it's not your problem and I apologize, it's my problem and have to be dealt with by me.

Know, I've been slipping with PFM and I'm doing my best to get it all back and running the way it should and the way I want it to be. It breaks my heart to see you all unhappy and some of you not believing in PFM. I'm not a web designer, never claimed to be. I'm a panty designer.

Over a year ago, I took over handling PFM full time. For circumstances unforeseen, Ross turned it over to me, with him helping as needed. My web designer quit, and I had to have surgery on my wrist I had broken the previous year.

Because of my love for PFM and for all of you, knowing you needed PFM and it's support I've fought like hell to keep it operating. Went thru several web designers having problems with each. So, I decided to build something until I could find the right person to put Humpty Dumpty back together again. Then, I've been trying to work on the gallery because so many of you enjoy and want it. I've never been able to get it running correctly. Either I found a program and it didn't work correctly or it did things I didn't want it to so I took it down. Finally, found a forum everyone can post in and i'm glad it's here.

The next thing is my family. I've been having some personal issues that was important and demanded my time and attention. All these things take time away from what I love best and that's sewing,and being here for you. Well I made myself sick with it all, and feel I have failed everyone and doing my damnedest to pull it all back together.

Only a handful know the tears I have cried at night because of how I feel. That feeling is I have failed you all. I've worked over 10 years trying to make PFM into a "family" being there for everyone, and sewing the designs each of you deserve. Absolutely, breaks my heart that it's taken me nearly 2 years to get it together. I am up at 6 in the morning and very rarely get to bed before midnight. Because I am determined this is going to work.

Think I'm finally beginning to see some light. Jason has come back on board (Original Designer) and has told me a few more weeks and the site should be finished. Will be updated and better than the original one. I've located a couple part time seamstresses to help me with sewing new designs and custom. It takes time for them to truly understand how I want it done. But, we are getting there. Found two USA manufacturers I am working with to get some of my more popular items in stock so there are no delays. Trying to find some nice finished products you will enjoy.

As, for the mailers with products. Trying to keep you all abreast of everything and show you new things on the horizon, and help you to understand I'm trying very hard to bring back your PFM. It's NOT about the purchases you make, although it's very helpful in keeping PFM going. But, it's about building a community,family,and home I know each of you desire and need. The support and understanding that is out there.

Please don't give up on me. It's getting there and I"m hoping by the end of October the web site will be back, my seamstresses and manufacturer will be ahead of the game, and I can be more attentive to your needs and desires.

Want to "Thank each of you" for your offers of support and help. Never know when I will be knocking on your door, asking to take you up on your offers.

I can't speak for Breezie, but I'm sure what I have to say is echoed by him.

There is no need for you to apologize, I have not had an easy life. As a matter of fact, I'm still poor. The best thing I did in retrospect, was joining the Air Force ions ago. The year in Vietnam has also, as I have Veterans Affairs for my healthcare and I live in senior/public housing.

I for one, will go down with the ship, if PFM fails. If we all stick together, PFM will not fail! "United we stand, divided we fail."

For all those ordering things from PFM - it is with regret that I feel I must post this account of an order gone wrong and the subsequent events.

I am sure this posting will be quickly removed one way or another so I will also be posting this along with a full transcript of the email exchanges in a blog with a link shortly. If anyone would like to contact me directly my email address is xwjackson at yahoo.com.

I ordered a small number of items from PFM on March 31st this year. I exchanged emails with Donna and agreed on exactly what I wanted. I finally received a delivery at the end of June after a long exchange of emails with Donna. Unfortunately none of the items were the right color, size or style. I emailed Donna and she assured me she would send replacement items "today" on June 30th.

After a very long and protracted period of email exchanges, during which I gather Donna had some issues (which I fully understand have to be allowed for), I still have not received any replacement items...and its nearly Christmas!

You will see from the email transcripts that I have been assured on multiple occasions that items have been made and eventually shipped, but with no dates or tracking numbers. Donna has now stopped responding to my emails. I can only conclude that I am not going to get what I paid for.

I have purchased some nice items from PFM in the past but I have to say I am very dissapointed this time around. I will be looking for other sources and would like to compare experiences with others.

Caveat Emptor!

I have had way too many similar experiences to ever buy from PFM again. I have a very similar story. I did finally get the pair of panties she shorted me over THREE months later. I was fed up. I like the people on this forum, which is the only reason I come back here. But as for PFM, they lost my business for good.

I am starting to wonder if her computer really had a break down or not, via some of the post here. Though this may be an overall issue via ebay or aol, gmail, comcast, pick your isp or e-mail provider it may be there issue but intend to get to the bottom of this no pun intended one way or another. As I am having communication with all my favorite sellers right now, I am going to e-mail them via there paypal, addresses, and call the few that have phone numbers to see if this problem is related to anyone service, because I have had very few problems with pfm, in general and they usually have been corrected quickly but there are still a few things out standing, so enlight of the other issues I am seeing I am willing to give Donna the benefit of a doubt. I will report back when I know more.
