Mine started with a pair of orange satin bikini style panty, that belonged to my older sister, I would wear them a day or twice then toss them in the hamper and borrow another pair, when I was 16 I bought my first pair, when I was 32 I started making my own.
No my sister never found out, I would wear them a day or two, then throw them in the hamper my the washer, and pick a new pair from either the clean folded stuff ready for her to grab from the laundry room, or sometimes I would have to sneak into her room, she had all her panties rolled up and Arranged by color, so it was easy to pick a pair of satin ones, I nay wear satin or other similar materia, then when I was in my twenties, I had a pair of panties that I really loved, but were wearing out, so I carefully cut them apart at the seems, traced the shapes onto some card stock type art paper, allowing a 1/4 for stitching, found some stretch satin fabric at my local fabric store found foldover elastic trim, and some stretch lace, put it all together, the couple dozen pairs were a little rough, but that was thirty years ago, I am quite the seamstress at this point I even make camisole, babydoll's, and night gowns, I made garter belts, I have done bras, it's a rare occasion when I buy panties, I still look everyday but mostly just to get ideas, the best part is I make matching sets for my wife and I, nothing will turn you more than seeing your spouse come out of her closet wearing the panties, with matching garter belt that you made and it matches yours, sometimes we never even make it to our dinner reservations.

Do you sell any of your creations? While I've developed good relationships with other seamstresses who specialize in panties for men, they're all women, so I'm curious to see what a guy has come up with.
I started young with a pair of panties that was forgotten and abandoned in the laundry room. I come from a big family and most of my siblings had already moved away by that time.
