80's Dolfin Shorts

I hope this isn't out of place. Please tell me where to put it if it is. Did anyone wear Dolfin shorts back in the 80's? My big sister was cheer leader in high school and she had several pair of those tight satin shorts. I would put them on and go ride my bike or wear them around the house when no one was home. It was so hard not to get hard while wearing them. Our school colors were maroon and gold so I could get away with wearing her maroon ones outside.

I was too young back in the 80's to notice such things.  However I remember mom in later years telling me about our then teen-age neighbor Cheryl.  Mom said that when Cheryl wore her 'sexy little shorts' back then,  teen age boys would swarm around her house "like flies on a cow pie".  That's just mom, always very graphic.

But I'm now wondering if Cheryl actually wore the shorts you're talking about.  By the looks of your photo, those shorts are something I'd like to wear.  Can a person still buy them?  If so, where?  Maybe I need to start scouring some vintage clothing places.

If you go to ebay and search Dolfin shorts you'll get all the Hooter's orange shorts bright and shiny and slippery.
look at these originals from Etsy Polyester and Nylon . I'm drooling already
