I posted a reply in "matching panties" today and by doing so, I was reminded of an encounter with a woman a couple of years ago.
I owned and operated a restaraunt for most of my life until I sold it in 2007. After selling, I did not want to stop working so I decided to give a mgmt. position with Walmart a try. While I was in training I got to spend a week working the service desk. One day during this week, an attractive lady about my age came up to the desk asking to get a refund on some thong panties. She had two pairs, a pink one and a red one. I was feeling a little adventurus already that day and had been playing around with the woman that was trying to train me on the service desk. This lady was taking her job a little too serious while training me. I knew that the lady training me was listening for my response to the customer returning the panties so, I asked her, "I am assuming you wish to return these thong panties because they were riding up?" I did this with a smile on my face and the female customer just bust out laughing and the lady that was training me couldn't help but do the same. As I was completing the transaction with the customer, she opened up a conversation with me about panties. She told me that she liked to wear sexy panties and match them to her bras. Every time she came in to the store from that day forward, if I saw her and she saw me, we would have a laugh and from time to time she would shop in our lingre dept and show me what she was going to buy after she picked out some panties or bras.
Anyone else have an experience like this that they can share?
My last job at walmart was answering the phones and attending the fitting room. The fitting rooms were located in the lingerie dept. I often did get a glimpse of panties on some nice looking ladies. I also got to see a lot of panties on the racks, as they were right in front of me. I don't know if anyone ever got a glimpse of my panties.
Not much to say. A female would squat to look at a pantie that was close to the floor and her pant or shorts would ride down to reveal a small portion of her panties. You could tell the color, the material and if they were solid or print. Now if they were wearing a skirt or dress, some times they would bend over and you could see a little more. Depending on the shirt and cut of jeans they were wearing, you could tell with them standing that hey were wearing a thong. I hated thongs and to this day still do.
I Second the Motion!! Now that it's officially entered into the Membership's Agenda, then it's time to vote on it. NO MORE THONGS!!!! The only purpose that these infernal things are good for, is to make slingshots and wrist rockets out of 'em!!

I disagree I think on the right WOMAN'S behind is quite lovely, however I do believe there needs to be an aplication process in order to wear one, and if you don't meet the criteria then your application is DENIED !!!
I personally prefer to see the female a*ss covered up with a nice pair of nylon full brief panties. With the right a*ss, makes you want to grab both cheeks and rub her crotch till the cows come home.

Hmm, "Emm-Tee-One"; that's curious. I'm not presuming on your privacy, yet I do find it refreshing that you may prefer to have a liberal amount of fabric whipsawing about your bod, as you move about. The more I think about it, it strikes me that overstretched elastic, almost approaching the tensility of steel cable, is not only highly uncomfortable, as much as thong fans may deny this, it may actually be dangerous to the health of the tenderer tissues of the anal/rectal portal, especially with vigorous activity. In addition, to view a lady's derriere in action, I think thongs impart an unnatural motion to them, with that centerline constriction. I like the effect far, far more, if a lady is wearing very sheer "Grannies", or is absolutely nude. Thons are not only slingshots, they are "reverse chastity belts"!
I've had many 'panty talks' with female strangers in department stores. It usually starts with something like this: I'm at the cash register paying for my panty purchase. The clerk says something like "Oh, such pretty panties. I'm sure she will enjoy them." To which I usually reply: "actually, they're for me". To which she might say something like "I sure wish my husband was into that". So that usually gets the conversation rolling. Sometimes a few female customers also join in the conversation, while they're waiting in line to pay for their stuff. Some of the bolder ones sometimes get very personal by describing exactly what 'gets their panties wet' while at the same time asking me about my sexual kinks. Some of them do this even after I tell them that I'm married. Such naughty girls and I love every minute of it.
Something else I've noticed while panty shopping: Female shoppers will sometimes flirt with male shoppers in the lingerie dept , whereas they wouldn't flirt with the guys when shopping in a different dept. Could be any number of reasons for that. I'm thinking maybe the flirters are actually store plants, and they're trying to make me horny so I'll buy more panties. Good strategy, it always works.

Sears once many years ago. she asked if she could help and I said yes, I'm looking for some Vanity Fair's. she asked my wife's size so I guess she saw my ring. I told her I was looking for a variety of the Mocha Mist color in size 8, 9, and 10's. she helped me look through the whole rack and put together 3 of each size. she asked about my choice so I said I have enjoyed them for years and depending on how I feel I like them tight and supportive and other times loose and baggy. she told me they were on sale 6 for $36 and then she gave me another discount on top of that which I didn't understand but, hey, a discount on panties is always welcome. I remember paying less than $30 for 9 pairs of panties and some of my favorite. man, I was leaking in my panties. she just smiled at me and said to enjoy my purchase. I think I blushed a little and said thanks and left. definitely one of my best experiences. I was going crazy and she might have been doing it on purpose but she spread out each pair full to take out the hangers. so sexy and tease to see several pairs at once spread out with crotch showing. I had a wet spot on my pants by the time I made it to my car.

I too remember Sears VIP as well as Blue Package. They were among the first panties I bought with my own money after I got old enough to buy my own, rather than my parents buying my panties for me. I bought a dozen pair of each just before Sears left my area. Although I have hundreds of different brand/style/color of panties, the traditional Sears ones are what I always come back to. Since Sears is no longer in my area, I guess I'll have to 'ration' them (wear them only for 'special occasions') so that they'll be around as long as I am.
BTW, are the ones in your avatar Bali Skimp-scamp? Haven't had any of those for a while. I guess I'll have to hunt some down. Kohl's is only about 1/2 mile from my place, so happy hunting Linda.

those are Olga Secret Hug full briefs. great nylon, soft lace. crotch is a decent width, 3.25" not as wide as Bali but equals VF Rav's
