I just finished watching an old TV program, 'Hazel.' It was about Harold, the Baxter's son, reciting the "Pledge of Alligiance' at an assembly in school. The pledge was recited several times with George Baxter, Harvey somebody in bed with colds and Hazel in the middle reciting the pledge at the end of the show. What would happen if schools started reciting the pledge again.
"I pledge alligiance to the Flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands.
One Nation indivisible, under God, with Liberty and justice for all."
And how about our members from other nations, do you pledge your alligiance to your country? Hopefully you do.
It's time we stop, the majority, take our country back. I don't care who is insulted, who doesn't believe in the pledge, too bad. What this country needs is a new and permanent wave of patriotism like there was 0n 911.
You know it's only one percent of the "American"population that protests the pledge of allegiance, and the phrase in God We Trust, I say screw them and let's get back to the values that this Great Country was founded upon.

From your mouth, to God's ears.
The late Red Skelton did a very innovative version of The Pledge of Allegiance. I wish I knew where I could download an MP3 copy of it. I'd appreciate a Link of that, please and thank you.

I can't help you with a link, however, I do have a two DVD set of Red Skelton with his "Pledge of Alligiance on it.
