I believe it's high time to immerse you all, in the world of what I believe to be the overall finest panties ever made, by Van Raalte.
I believe the firm was founded in the 1880's, but the world was yet to wait 'til the late 1930's, when they caused an extremely sensuous fashion conflagration, by introducing the best Nylon Tricot ever fabricated, Sheerio and Myth--in that order--by DuPont. When this finely-deniered stuff touches Winkie, well nothing else in the world, has the almost supernatural power to dig to the deepest nerve endings, to jangle them. And it ministers just as effectively to the rest of the bod, with its static electric drape, too. You feel the drape across your contours, and you'll see the drape of it, too. Speaking of which, the visual effect hits you just as hard, too--very glassy sheer and a dignified sheen--not just in panties, but in slippies and nighties, too.
Alas, the Van Raalte company died in the early 1980's and went to Pantie Heaven. If, like Mr. Alan Rifkin's recent revival of Shadowline were to occurr, then the Pantie World would be perfect. Let's pray for that to happen.
Thank you for posting pix of some very lovely panties. Wish I could play in all of them.
And, Pee-Cee, my friend, I also thank you for your very warm (and throbbing) appreciation.
Did I get you, Pee-Cee, and the rest of you, hot, bothered, and, horrrneeeyyy?? That was precisely my idea and intention!
In the thread--"First Time Experiences"--I wrote about creamin' up my mother's Van Raalte Sheerios--the very first time that I ever creamed a pair of panties--and that being a cumpletely spontaneous ejaculation--with absolutely no labor required on my part, so I have a very sentimental and primal attachment to the Van Raalte brandage.
All Nylon Tricot ought to be like this stuff!!
Everybody here, I supposes that they sorely wish that they could play in 'em. Why, I think an out'n'out Pantie War, might break out amongst us(Laughs!!)!! Van Raalte manufactured mainly for svelte ladies, so that would eliminate some of us--who wear greater than a Ladies Size 10.
A few Posts ago, I wish that that Rheinmaedchen (Rhine Maiden), hadn't worn those infernal Rios, under those lace-fronted Sheerios. The sheerness and the girl's charms are clearly meant to compliment each other.

Hey folks, I just discovered something really cool. I think quite a number of you have raved about the pix from my JPEG Library on my HDD that I have shared with you.
I'll now share that little trick with you. When I or someone else uploads pix to the PFM Forum, each pic can be activated in one of two ways. The first, when you Click directly on the photo, activates the Slideshow. The second, when you Click on the very tiny print below the photo, shows the photo all by itself. Now, Right-Click on that, and, voila!!, you all now likewise have the opportunity to save any and all of someone else's pix, to your own Personal JPEG Library on your own Personal HDD's. Enjoy, until eternity!!
Yes, Breezie... you did get me excited by showing all those sexy Van Raalte panties. I have never had a chance to try that brand. Are they still around or just another sexy panty of the past like the vintage VF panties shown in my avatar?
Thanks too to Luvpanties for suggesting Bing. I bet Google would be good for that too. I am on my way to find out.

"Pee-Cee", I was admiring your very happy winkie, through your VF Diaphaniques. That particular Tricot is very damn similar to Van Raalte DuPont Sheerio/Myth, so you're very much still ahead of the curve, with your Diaphaniques; be assured of that, and snatch up as much of both, as you can.
As far as I can tell, eBay's your best bet for getting more VF's like you have, and the VR's. Just be prepared to bid up to One Grand (I kid you not!) per pair for these. These VR's were mainly designed with the svelte lady in mind. I was damn lucky to find a coupla pairs about 8 years ago, in my Size 10 Ladies, as I almost never see these above a Size 7, now. I hope that you're a svelte dude, yourself!
As I said before, VR went out of business in the early '80's. Just one look and touch of these, and you'll see why the bidding wars on eBay are so exceedingly savage.
In the meantime, be kind to your Diaphaniques, in your play sessions--you want 'em to last.
There are some very current offerings that cum, and come, very close, to giving you the enjoyment level that we crave. There's Shadowline's Satinrique wares, panties, and nighties. And then there's the Antron III Nylon used in Vanity Fair's Lace Nouveaus, Style #'s 13001/13801. Another VF Tricot that you'll want to BOLO, even though it's vintage, is their Pechglo Blend. It is a mix of Acetate, Rayon, or Polyester, with Nylon. I generally stay away from Polyester in Tricots, but, that's just me. Pechglo as perceived by my bod 'n' Winkie, has an especially downie/fuzzie feel to it. Winkie feels he's burnin' up with passion, with that stuff! Finally, VF's Style #13081, their Embellished Full Cool Comforts, are very grand, too, very remiscent of Pechglo; they fit much like VF Ravi's, their discontinued Classics (Identical Tricot to Lace Nouveaus.), and, the Lace Nouveaus themselves. The Vanity Fair Sleepwaer Collection, called Coloratura, has a savagely sweet feel to it. All of this stuff has a nice sheerness and sheen to it, too, though Pechglo's more on the matte, flat-finish side of things.
Generally nowadays, you'll want to BOLO anything that states, "Antron III"; you'll almost never go wrong with that
