I have a pair of Vanty Fair LN's. They are pink , with a rear seam. The Tag says the are make in the USA . Any ideas ?
Aae-Kay, if you're talking about a vertical centerline seam that bisects the rear panel, then I have no idea when they were manufactured. I believe that LN's have been under production for at least 30 years, now. Sounds like an oddity, that LN's would be made that way. I normally don't wear stuff with vertical centerline seams, as they usually annoy Winkie and tend to give me wedgies. At least Lace Nouveaus are made with a descendant type of Antron III-/DuPont-type Tricot, that is quite like the old-time lengendary Diaphanique Tricot. That's the older Style (13001/13801) LN's, not the newfangled Ravissant LN's, that use a somewhat more heavy-gauge Tricot, same as the Plain-Jane Ravissants, and the old-original-style LN's also use the same Tricot as is used in the Plain-Jane Classics (15711/15811). We are talking about the style(s) with the triangles of hip lace, are we not?
