In the long run, I'm not sure if there is such a crittur, for me, as a "favorite color", or, as our friends of the British Commonwealth would say, a "favourite colour". I say this, because different colors have differing psychological effects, depending upon the mindset of the wearer of the color, and the impact that it has upon who else sees the garment being worn, upon the wearer, and, most definitely, the mood the wearer is in, and the mood the wearer is striving to create in others, or for themselves, for solo fantasy play.

Yet, the most obvious and most universal effect, may be what the color Black triggers. Perhaps most of you would agree that it triggers notions of "Femme Fatale"; memorializing the late Bettie Page; doing the Burlesque thing; doing the Goth thing; and-or doing the "Vampire" thing. I personally like Black the best, not just for lingerie, but for a lot of my other clothing. It comes, in part, I guess, from being a fan of the pioneering heavy metal band, Black Sabbath, and being a fan of Anne Rice's The Vampire Chronicles, with her main character/hero, Lestat, in particular.

Actually, the first quality that I go for, is the sheerness of the fabric, then the color, and how that color effectively combines with my skintone. It may be white, lilac, pink, red, nude, beige, and BLACK, who knows--it could be paisley--as long as it provides an interesting tint to my skin tone, and I see that ethereal gap of light through the fabric, between an erect Winkie, the fabric, and the rest of my body. It's a random thing, for what may trigger me into more aggressive play, or, no play at all, just to passively luxuriate in the fabric at hand, for awhile.

Panties come in a multitude of colors. Some colors are the same but have a different name.

Women wear diffetent colors to go with the color of the clothes they are wearing. Kind of trying to hide their panties instead of a contrasting color that could be seen.

Now us men don't have that problem. Men's clothes come in basic colors, black, brown, gray, and blue.

For me it is hard to pick a favorite color. I have many different colors including white. I prefer the bright colors as if they peek out from the top of my pants, they won't be mistaken for men's undewear. If I had to pick one color, it would be bright red.

This is a very easy post to join in, as there is no debating political views, etc. Just what is your favorite color. You can add more to your post such as the reason you like that color.

Haven't got display image yet, just joined. Will soon. My favorite color? PINK, and all kinds of pink tones like lavender, purple, hot pink, etc. I rarely wear anything but those colors. What I like to do, is have my pink panties show over my belt line. I love to see the reactions. Women usually smile, men , who cares. To pusspuss...I just love those panties

If you like pink, there's other fabrics, in other panties and lingeries, that can produce pinkish effects, especially if those fabrics are sheer--see through. Assuming that you're Caucasian, white sheers can let the muted pink of your skin shine through. Blue sheers can change the skin underneath to a lavender/mauve tint. And, yellow sheers, along with orange pastel sheers gives you a peachy look.

Black sheers, on the other hand, gives you a femme fatale look, like the late Ava Gardner, the late Bettie Page, or the very much living Bettie Page emulatress, Bernie Dexter. From the original Dark Shadows TV series, I wish that I could have seen Lara Parker ("Angelique Bouchard") do a photo layout--and lay-about(!!)--in black undies!! Now that would have been way too much, for a guy on the cusp of adolescence!!

I'll go with teal/turquoise and emerald green. I used to get rene rofe polyester ones from the Value City for $2.00/pr. Sometimes you could find some on clearance for a buck. There was always the thrill of the purchase. Then VC went out. Now I get 'em from iloveruffles, satique. I'd like to try sewing my own. So far that's a hard sell with the wife who doesn't exactly approve of my activities.

Hey Birdman, If you start sewing your own you can pick out fabrics that are not quite so feminine and that way she wont even know the bonus is you can tweek them so they fit better, and you get good enough you make your wife a pair to match yours.

Mint green is my favorite color, since one of my 8th grade teachers was wearing a mint green panty & bra set when she caused me to lose my virginity.  That whole story is told in the "stories" section under "Panty Stories" and is titled "My name / Your name".  Anyway, that's my favorite color because every time I wear a bra & panty set like hers I re-live the memory of my "first time".

My favorite color, overall, is yellow. When it comes to lingerie though, there really is something about pink that is so much fun! Pastels and florals are favorites as well in my lingerie choices.

any feminine color really.

pinks, dusty rose are tops, a warm lavender is nice and i even like some powder blue.

i had a collection of comfort choice cotton briefs once that had cute little butterflies on them. violet, navy, light blue, magenta and green. i hated the green with a passion. i remember wishing that they had done a white, an orange and a yellow too but wasnt going to happen
